Need a huge list of ideas on what to wear to a Renaissance fair or festival? Here is a great big list of ideas to help you come up with an idea of what you should wear. This website has over two hundred photos and video of people in costumes on Fat Tuesday at Mardi Gras in New Orleans. They were taken on various years. If you came here, you are probably looking for Mardi Gras costume ideas for Fat Tuesday. Most of Mardi Gras is actually fun family events and parades, but some of it is people going all out with creativity and daring costumes. The Family Fun happens all over town and in neighboring suburbs. The debauchery and tawdry stuff is generally limited to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter.
What you see here is a collection of photos taken on Bourbon Street. It's people having fun. Costuming or Masking on Mardi Gras lets you be someone else for a day, or sometimes it is just a reflection of your true self. This is a great place to get some ideas for Mardi Gras costumes. Some people are a little out of control, but most people are just happy to be at Carnival.
